How Discarded Tents Became Tote Bags

After a weekend festival, the music stops, but the waste often lingers. In the UK, it’s estimated that over 250,000 tents are left behind each year. Most head straight to the landfill.

Lauren Mason saw it firsthand while helping clean up a festival. Shocked by the sheer volume of abandoned tents, she filmed a short TikTok. It went viral and sparked an idea. What if those tents didn’t have to go to waste?
